The successful candidate will play a crucial role in maintaining and enhancing our technology infrastructure to support our operations effectively. This position requires a proactive individual who is committed to delivering high-quality solutions and can adapt quickly in a fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities
- Support end users via ServiceNow according to SLA
- Investigate and troubleshoot issues
- Participate in production incidents, escalate to vendors and communicate effectively to resolve issues
- Work according to an on-call schedule to provide 24x7 support
- Communicate with L2 and development teams
- Collaborate on development projects with clients
- Enhance the existing Ops handbook with new cases
- Process Azure extension requests
- Create and support vendor tickets including Microsoft support requests and relevant Jira tickets
- Continuously improve service processes and system performance
Requirements
- Proven experience as a Systems Engineer or similar role
- Strong understanding of Azure DevOps and CI/CD processes
- Proficiency in Go language and Golang Functions
- Fluent English communication skills at a B2+ level
Nice to have
- Experience with Linux systems
- Knowledge of containerization technologies such as Docker and Kubernetes
- Familiarity with Jenkins for automation
- Experience with cloud platforms like GCP and AWS
- Understanding of network principles and protocols
