You Will Be Responsible For:

• Establishing and ensuring the accuracy of all accounting processes of the company in accordance with the requirements of the Republic of Belarus;

• Timely preparation and submission of tax returns on VAT, income taxes, taxes on income of foreign legal entities, property taxes, transport tax, fee for placement (distribution) of advertising and other fees as they arise;

• Management of the accounting department (up to 10 people);

• Ensuring the correctness of accounting and tax records;

• Monitoring changes in accounting and tax legislation that may occur in the company's activities;
• Consulting on accounting and tax legislation of the Republic of Belarus for company employees, as well as representatives of the head office;
• Preparation of complete and accurate financial and other reporting in accordance with the requirements of the Republic of Belarus (annual accounting statements and quarterly reports for the bank), as well as the company's accounting policy;
• Preparation of monthly, quarterly and annual management reports for submission to the head office;
• Communication with banks, auditors, tax, statistical and other government agencies, representing the company's interests in them.

Expectations from the candidate:

• Higher education in business administration, accounting, finance or economics;

• English – at an above-intermediate level (written and oral);
• Excellent knowledge of accounting and tax legislation of the Republic of Belarus;
• Experience in accounting/finance for at least 5 years, preferably in trade/retail companies;
• Experience in tax accounting and filing tax returns on the general tax system;
• Experience in international companies in a similar position will be a plus;
• Strong knowledge of 1C;
• Knowledge of IFRS will be a plus;
• Focus on results and a positive attitude;
• Team player;
• Excellent communication skills;
• High sense of responsibility;
