Overview:

We continues to expand the team and is looking for a Deputy team lead of analytics. We need a true, experienced, and accomplished professional who shares our culture and values.

Key responsibilities:

  • Leadership: Manage, mentor, and develop a team of payment analysts, fostering a collaborative and high-performance culture.
  • Analytics Strategy: Define and execute the analytics roadmap, aligning it with company goals and objectives.
  • Data Analysis: Oversee the analysis of payment data to identify trends, risks, and opportunities, ensuring data-driven decision-making.
  • Optimization: Collaborate with cross-functional teams to improve payment processes, reduce costs, and enhance customer experiences.
  • Reporting: Develop and deliver regular performance reports, dashboards, and presentations for senior management.
  • Stakeholder Collaboration: Partner with product, engineering, finance, and compliance teams to drive payment-related initiatives and projects.
  • Risk Management: Monitor and mitigate risks in payment operations, including fraud detection and prevention strategies. Innovation: Stay updated on industry trends and technologies to identify opportunities for innovation and efficiency improvements.

Requirements:

  • Experience:
  • 4+ years of experience in payment analytics, financial analysis, or risk management.
  • At least 1-2 years in a leadership or managerial role, preferably in the fintech.
  • Industry Knowledge:
  • Strong understanding of payment processing, digital transactions, payment gateways, merchant acquiring, and risk management.
  • Familiarity with regulatory compliance in payments, such as PSD2, PCI-DSS, AML, and KYC standards.
  • Knowledge of fraud prevention strategies and transaction monitoring.
  • Technical Skills:
  • Data Analysis & Business Intelligence:
  • Hands-on experience with data visualization tools like Tableau, Power BI, Looker, or Google Data Studio.
  • Strong skills in Excel (Pivot Tables, Macros, Data Analysis ToolPak, VBA preferred).
  • Process Automation & Optimization:
  • Experience working with APIs to extract and integrate payment data from multiple platforms.
  • Familiarity with A/B testing and experimentation to optimize payment flows.

  • Leadership & People Management:
  • Experience in leading, mentoring, and coaching teams in a dynamic and fast-paced environment.
