SUMMARY:

Serves as a Health Care Compliance Manager for the Innovative Medicine Russia and Gulf. Supports the local implementation and management of the Health Care Compliance (HCC) program for the Innovative Medicine Russia and Gulf. Reporting to the Health Care Compliance Officer, the Innovative Medicine Russia and GCC. The HCC Manager ensures business practices and activities align with related J&J internal guidelines, local laws and regulations; and anti-corruption laws including the US Foreign Corrupt Practices Act. The HCC Manager will engage as a strategic business partner and advisor for other the Innovative Medicine Russia and Gulf employees, to assure that a culture of compliance and accountability is inherent in day to day business. Position is located in Russia.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties may be assigned.

  • Main contact point for business stakeholders giving HCC guidance and advice on related projects and activities
  • Review and approval of events on iConnect and minor exceptions management
  • Overseeing in collaboration with HCC specialist appropriate guidance (including but not limited, localization of policies and SOPs), education, training, and regular communications on HCC to all covered employees.
  • Enhance Third Party Intermediary (TPI) and Business Sponsors management – oversight of TPI due diligence, including overdue TPIs
  • Coordination of Local Working Group (TPI Red Flags and Exceptions)
  • Crafting the local monitoring plan based on the EMEA HCC IM Annual Monitoring Plan. Proposing updates/improvements to detected gaps.
  • Overseeing in collaboration with HCC specialist the monitoring activities and live monitoring of events done by the business
  • Responsible of maintaining and updating the HCC Framework (when required)
  • Conducting self-assessment and risk assessment processes to detect process gaps & inconsistencies, including Quarterly Risk Review.
  • Preparation of audits and management of inquiries related to investigations, etc
  • Management Action Plans development and execution, particularly in response to investigations of a critical nature.

EDUCATION and EXPERIENCE: BA/BS, advanced degree or equivalent preferred and a minimum of 7+ years business experience. Background may include Compliance, Finance, Medical Affairs, Legal experience in project management is required. Good command of English and Russia, (is a plus Arabic). Experience in Health Care Compliance would be valued. Understands and masters the J&J Credo based culture. Knowledge of laws, regulations and industry standards for the countries is a plus.
