Nekki is a game development studio, the creator of Shadow Fight Arena, Shadow Fight 3, Shadow Fight 2, and Vector. The total number of registered users for our games exceeds 1 billion worldwide. We develop and release games for PC, consoles, and mobile platforms.
We are looking for a Meta Game Designer to work on our 2D fighting projects: Shadow Fight 2 and Shades: Shadow Fight Roguelike.
Shadow Fight 2 is a unique combination of martial arts, magic, and science fiction. The game fuses the fighting and RPG genres to make something totally out-of-the-ordinary.
Shades is the sequel to the legendary Shadow Fight 2. The game takes all the best from its predecessor, namely dynamic battles with realistic animations, and takes it to a completely new level by adding elements of Roguelike gameplay.
Responsibilities:

Design and implement meta-mechanics.

Create engaging progress and achievement systems.

Write game design documentation.

Remake and refine existing features.

Control the production of features from concept to implementation in collaboration with programmers and other teams.

Analyze project's and features' metrics.

Participate in formation of plans for the project's future.

Calculate balance of the features from gameplay and economic standpoint.
Requirements:

Proven experience as a game designer within at least 2 projects in portfolio that have seen their release.

The ability to express thoughts and ideas clearly and concisely.

The genuine habit of playing mobile games to keep the reference base up to date.

Experience working with analytics.

Experience working with scripting languages (or programming background).
