The IT company Andersen invites a Xamarin Developer to join its team for working with a company from the UAE.

This position requires on-site in the Abu Dhabi office, but we are also open to considering candidates from other countries for relocation.

The customer is a government entity that manages public affairs and oversees various corporate and philanthropic projects. The company is embarking on a transformative digital journey to enhance its operational efficiency and customer experiences.

The project focuses on digital transformation in the UAE to develop and support digital solutions, enhance social services, strengthen public engagement, advance international relations, and optimize administrative processes.

Responsibilities:

  • Designing, developing, and maintaining front-end components of mobile applications using .NET MAUI.
  • Implementing reusable UI components and ensuring consistency across different devices and platforms.
  • Optimizing mobile application performance and responsiveness.
  • Working closely with UI/UX designers to implement visually appealing and user-friendly interfaces.
  • Ensuring applications meet modern mobile design standards and accessibility requirements.
  • Integrating mobile applications with backend services using RESTful APIs, GraphQL, or gRPC.
  • Writing clean, maintainable, and testable code following MVVM and best coding practices.
  • Performing unit testing and UI testing using tools like NUnit, xUnit, Appium, and Xamarin.UITest.
  • Collaborating with backend developers, UI/UX designers, and project managers to ensure seamless development.
  • Documenting technical designs, architecture, and best practices for mobile development.
  • Utilizing Git, GitHub, GitLab, or Azure DevOps for version control.
  • Configuring CI/CD pipelines for automated builds, testing, and deployments.

Must-have:

  • Experience developing mobile applications using .NET Xamarin for 3+ years.
  • Experience with XAML for UI design and binding.
  • Knowledge of Dependency Services, Custom Renderers, Effects, and platform-specific implementations.
  • Familiarity with Azure DevOps, Firebase, or AWS for cloud services.
  • Strong debugging and problem-solving skills.
  • Experience working with third-party SDKs, libraries, and plugins.
  • Understanding of mobile application lifecycle and best practices.
  • Experience in Agile/Scrum methodologies.
  • Level of English – from Intermediate+ and above.

Nice-to-haves:

  • Experience with .NET MAUI as a migration path from Xamarin.
  • Exposure to Blazor Hybrid apps.
  • Familiarity with Push Notifications (Firebase Cloud Messaging, Azure Notification Hubs, or APNs).
  • Knowledge of Google Play Store and App Store submission process.
