Senior Data Engineer

Are you an experienced Data Engineer?

Come and join our team in Uzbekistan. You will have an exciting project in banking sector and contribute to the development and optimization of one of client’s data infrastructure.

Required Qualifications:

• Fluency in Uzbek/Russian and possess good communication in English.
• 4+ years of hands-on experience in Data Engineering and Data Warehousing.
• Strong proficiency in SQL for data manipulation, optimization, performance tuning and complex query development.
• Experience working with Data Vault 2.0 methodology and data warehouse modeling.
• Deep knowledge of ETL tools and frameworks (e.g., Apache Airflow, dbt, Talend, Informatica etc.).
• Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently in a fast-paced environmen

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience with Big Data technologies (Spark, Hadoop, etc.).
• Knowledge of data lake and lakehouse architectures.
• Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines for data engineering.
• Familiarity with data visualization and BI tools (e.g., Power BI, Tableau).
• Familiarity with programming languages like Python or Scala for data processing.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and optimize data pipelines and ETL processes.
• Implement and maintain Data Vault-based DWH architectures.
• Write efficient and scalable SQL queries to process and analyze large datasets.
• Ensure data quality, consistency, and integrity across the data ecosystem.
• Collaborate with data analysts, data scientists, and business stakeholders to meet data requirements.
• Monitor and troubleshoot data pipelines to ensure optimal performance.
• Implement best practices for data governance, security, and compliance.

Location:

• Hybrid (Tashkent). You may travel from time to time and work on customer side in Tashkent.

Work time:

• Monday - Friday, 8 hours (from 9:00 - 18:00 Tashkent time, can be flexible +/- 1 hours)
