RESPONSIBILITIES:
•To ensure adherence of the Islamic Asset and Liability Management framework in line with the regulatory requirements.
•Prepare and run thematic analyses, both quantitative and qualitative, to support ALM needs.
•Prepare of the financial ratios, and provide detail analytics to senior management to make informed decisions
•Contribute to aspects of planning and performance monitoring relating to budget and non-financial metrics in order to optimise balance sheet and ratios
•Provide technical inputs in the development and enhancement of forecasting and scenario planning tools in order to comply with regulatory requirements
•Focus on optimisation of the balance sheet, including profit rate risk, transfer pricing, benchmark submission and overall liquidity profile of the Bank.
•Preparation and control Asset/Liability typically reports to senior management and other regulatory reports
•Development / consideration of all necessary financial control measures of the Bank to ensure compliance with all regulatory requirements.
•Fulfillment of any other instructions and tasks within the framework of the Department’s activities, entrusted by Department/Division Head
REQUIREMENTS:
•Higher education / Master's degree in Accounting, Finance;
•Excellent understanding of local banking practice and the preparation of financial (managerial), regulatory and audit reporting according to IFRS;
• At least 3 years of experience working in banks in a similar position;
• At least Upper-intermediate level of English;
• Good knowledge of information technology (IT), IT systems and databases is a plus;
• Strong analytical skills.
