The IT company Andersen invites a Junior QA Automation Engineer (JavaScript) to work on a large-scale project in the field of Fintech.
The customer is an award-winning, high-growth financial technology company delivering intelligent real-time treasury management solutions to global companies with complex business requirements and multiple moving parts, such as assets, staff, and finances. The company’s loyal client base comprises over 2,600 corporate clients, including the highly lucrative marine, aviation, music, and film production sectors.
The project is a new dimension to the banking landscape with unique technology and unrivalled expertise. The goal is to make global payments, treasury and foreign-exchange services smarter and more transparent.
Technology stack: JavaScript, Mocha.js, AllureOps, Jenkins, Test Rail, DynamoDB, MySQL.
Responsibilities:
- Analyzing nightly test runs and generating bug reports for failed tests.
- Refactoring and updating existing test cases to improve reliability and maintainability.
- Supporting and enhancing the current test framework by writing new automated test cases.
- Collaborating with senior QA Automation Engineers to absorb knowledge and improve testing processes.
Must-haves:
- Experience as a QA Automation Engineer for 6+ months.
- Experience with JavaScript-based automation frameworks, particularly Mocha.js.
- Understanding of API testing.
- Experience with CI/CD tools, specifically Jenkins.
- Knowledge of test reporting tools, such as AllureOps and TestRail.
- Basic SQL and NoSQL database experience, including MySQL and DynamoDB.
- Strong debugging skills and ability to analyze test failures effectively.
- Level of English – from Intermediate and above.
Nice-to-haves:
- Familiarity with libraries like wdio/codemod, aws-sdk, moment, MS SQL, MySQL, Unirest, UUID, WebDriver, and xlsx.
