We are seeking a high-performing Associate to join our Corporate Development Team. In this role, you’ll contribute to execution of our bold M&A strategy, proactively originate new investment opportunities, manage portfolio companies, and collaborate with our leadership team to shape the future of HeadHunter and HR-tech industry. Key responsibilities:
- Conduct market research, competitor and industry trend analysis to identify investment opportunities
- Contribute to origination of new investment and M&A transactions: analyze financial performance and business plans, prepare financial models, participate in management sessions and internal discussions
- Contribute to execution of transactions: prepare investment memos, coordinate DD process and documentation drafting
- Oversee and manage portfolio companies: analyze financial performance, participate in budgeting process, coordinate product integrations and cross-sell initiatives, contribute to strategic developments
- Lead activities focused on startup ecosystem. Build relationships with startup founders, independently analyze and recommend early-stage investment opportunities, streamline integration of startups into HeadHunter ecosystem
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree from a top-tier university, preferably in economics, informatics, mathematics, physics or a related field
- 3+ years of professional experience in Investment Banking, Private Equity or corporate finance
- Passion for technology and desire to build career in strategy
- Exceptional analytical and problem-solving skills, with high attention to detail
- Strong interpersonal and communication abilities, including presentation skills
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office tools, with proven experience in creating meaningful presentations and financial modeling
- Fluency in English
