The Specialist performs the following duties:
1) carries out registration of decisions of the management and officials of the University on the personnel of the School;
2) advises and provides assistance to the employees of the School on issues of Social Policy of the University;
3) if necessary, maintains records and verifies the correct issuance of temporary disability leaves for the employees of the School and inputs data into the 1C accounting system for correct payroll;
4) prepares and submits reports on reimbursement of expenses to the Department of Finance for the faculty of the School in accordance with social policy, in particular reports on reimbursement of tuition fees for children, expatriation and repatriation of family members, reimbursement of transportation costs, membership fees and others;
5) prepares the necessary documentation for the visa application/extension process and immigration issues and submits it to the Department of Internationalization;
6) provides advisory and methodological assistance to the employees of the School on housing and relocation issues;
7) if necessary, issues certificates from the place of work;
8) ensures the safety of documents within the supervised area;
9) maintains, fills in, stores and archives the personal files of the employees of the School at the University, the Senior HR Manager is responsible for the data provided;
10) administers the process of drafting, approving and signing contracts for staff training, ensures the introduction of the employees to these contracts;
11) maintains correspondence within the scope of his/her functional duties;
12) performs duties (acts in a position) of the HR Manager during his/her temporary absence (for up to one month);
13) timely and properly executes the tasks of the line manager and the University`s management;
14) observes the requirements of the legislation of the Republic of Kazakhstan and internal documents of the University;
15) is responsible for exercising the labor and performance discipline;
16) is responsible for ensuring the integrity of official documents, and prevention of the disclosure or leakage of confidential and business information, as well as information of restricted access in accordance with the legislation, Charter and internal documents of the Employer;
17) in case of dismissal, is responsible for timely transfer of all paper documentation, digital information, inventory to another employee as instructed by the line manager (to be certified by the act of acceptance-transfer).
Education
Higher professional education, preferably in higher education institutions with English language teaching;
Priority areas of subjects:
- human resource management;
- psychology;
- management;
- business administration;
- international relations/ law.
Work experience
Minimum of one year. Work experience is not required with a master's degree in the relevant field
Knowledge
- Knowledge in the field of labor legislation of the Republic of Kazakhstan and processes related to the selection and management of personnel;
- knowledge of MS Office programs (Word, Excel, PowerPoint);
- fluency in Kazakh, Russian, English languages.
