We’re looking for a reliable and detail-oriented Senior Accountant with 6+ years of experience in financial reporting and managing accounting across multiple countries. You’ll handle day-to-day accounting tasks, support audits, and help improve financial processes as part of a globally distributed team.
Essential responsibilities:
- Maintain accurate financial records for multiple entities in different countries
- Post journal entries and ensure compliance with relevant accounting standards
- Reconcile bank statements and resolve inconsistencies
- Prepare and support VAT filings (e.g. UAE) and tax-related processes
- Work with auditors, tax advisors, and consultants
- Review current workflows and suggest process improvements
- Prepare financial statements in line with IFRS
Qualifications:
- 6+ years of accounting and reporting experience
- Fluency in English
- Strong knowledge of IFRS
- Experience working with external auditors
- Familiarity with ERP systems (NetSuite is a plus)
- Organized, proactive, and able to work independently
- A positive, problem-solving attitude
