Job Responsibilities:

  • Maintain and manage tax accounting in compliance with the Tax Legislation of the Republic of Kazakhstan and international accounting standards (IFRS).

  • Prepare and submit tax reports and declarations (forms: 100.00, 101.01, 101.02, 101.04, 200, 300, 700, 701, 701.1, 851, 870) to relevant authorities.

  • Ensure accurate taxation and timely payment of taxes.

  • Forecast tax obligations and contribute to the development of tax accounting policies.

  • Analyze and apply international tax treaties.

  • Provide tax consultation to internal departments.

  • Liaise with tax authorities on audits and other matters.

  • Monitor changes in the Tax Code and assess related risks.

  • Develop and implement the company’s tax strategy.

  • Manage tax risks and participate in tax and customs audits.

  • Handle matters related to tax incentives and preferences.

  • Use English effectively in a professional work environment.

Qualifications:

  • Higher education in finance or economics.

  • Strong knowledge of IFRS, the Kazakhstan Tax Code, and end-to-end accounting processes.

  • Certified Professional Accountant (CPA Kazakhstan) or CAP qualification.

  • Minimum 5 years of experience in accounting or a related field.

  • Solid understanding of accounting, auditing, taxation, and financial management.

  • Proficient in accounting software (1C) and MS Office tools.

  • Proficient in English for professional communication.

  • Working Conditions:

  • Office-based position, located in the Medeu district, working hours from 08:00 AM to 5:00 PM (Monday to Friday)
