We are seeking a skilled and motivated corporate lawyer to join our Cyprus-based legal team. The successful candidate will support the Company across a wide range of corporate and financial matters and will work closely with other legal professionals within the Group. The role also involves active participation in the establishment of new subsidiaries and joint ventures across multiple jurisdictions as part of the Group’s strategic initiatives. The candidate will also assist in mergers and acquisitions (M&A) transactions and related legal processes.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support the legal team in liaising with regulators, banks, and other stakeholders;
  • Provide assistance in the establishment of new subsidiaries and joint ventures in various jurisdictions;
  • Participate in legal aspects of cross-border projects and M&A transactions as part of the wider legal team;
  • Assist in drafting, reviewing, and commenting on a broad range of commercial and financial contracts;Assist in legal research and analysis of new or updated legislation relevant to the Company’s activities;
  • Help maintain corporate records and assist in routine corporate governance matters;
  • Prepare and respond to KYC requests relating to the Company and Group entities;
  • Liaise with internal departments (legal, tax, treasury, operations) and external advisors as required;
  • Contribute to documentation and coordination related to financial transactions, including loan and security documentation;

If experience in any of these areas is limited, a willingness to develop such expertise is expected.

Requirements:

  • Law degree from a recognised university;
  • Minimum 3 years of relevant experience in a reputable law firm or in-house legal department of a major corporation;
  • Proven ability to support legal projects independently while coordinating with wider teams;
  • Fluency in English and Russian (written and spoken);
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills;
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet tight deadlines;
  • Experience with establishing and maintaining legal entities in multiple jurisdictions is an advantage;
  • Familiarity with international loan documentation, including LMA standard agreements, is an advantage
