The IT company Andersen invites a BI Developer for a digital transformation project with a global insurance provider in Germany. The initiative focuses on building an enterprise platform to support core operations, system integrations, and financial workflows.

The company is dedicated to delivering world-class, agile, and sustainable IT solutions, driving full-spectrum digitalization.
The project is a large-scale, modular platform designed to support core business operations, system integrations, and financial workflows.
Technology stack on the project: ELT and ETL frameworks, SQL (PostgreSQL), Python/Airflow, Looker, Data modelling.
Responsibilities:
- Designing, developing, and maintaining data extraction and transformation solutions within ELT and ETL frameworks, as well as data models for a centralized data warehouse and integration layer.
- Developing and maintaining centralized self-service reporting solutions (in Looker), dashboards, and scheduled data deliveries.
- Conducting data analysis and validation to ensure accuracy, completeness, and consistency across data sources and reports.
- Managing stakeholders by collecting business requirements and requests related to data analysis and reporting.
- Monitoring and optimizing data infrastructure, including database systems, data pipelines, and ETL processes.
Must-haves:
- Experience as a BI Developer for 3+ years.
- Experience in building and maintaining data extraction, transformation, and loading processes.
- Strong proficiency, preferably with hands-on experience using PostgreSQL.
- Experience writing scripts for data processing and automation.
- Skills in creating DAGs and automating data pipelines.
- Familiarity with the BI tool, including dashboard creation and data visualization.
- Understanding of normalization, denormalization, and schema design (e.g., star and snowflake schemas).
- Basic understanding or experience with real-time data streaming.
- Level of English – from Upper-Intermediate and above.
Nice-to-haves:
- Understanding of SFTP server operations and data exchange principles.
- Experience in database administration (configuration, monitoring, backup, and recovery).
