Responsibilities:
- Review contracts for tax implications
- Ensure compliance with transfer pricing requirements
- Provide tax-related consultations to internal departments
- Verify tax residency certificates
- Support tax audits and respond to tax authority notifications
- Assist with external audits on tax matters, including those conducted by PWC
- Perform reconciliations with tax authorities
- Manage tax budgeting processes
- Review and approve contracts
- Handle insurance-related matters
- Prepare and submit tax declarations
Requirements:
- 6–8 years of experience in a tax department, preferably within an FMCG company
- Strong expertise in corporate income tax and indirect taxes
- Experience with transport tax, ecological tax, and withholding taxes
- Solid background in transfer pricing and communication with tax authorities, including during field tax audits
- Deep knowledge of local tax legislation and trends in tax-related court practices
- Familiarity with local GAAP and IFRS, especially in current and deferred tax accounting
- Upper-intermediate level of English (written and spoken)
