The Fleet Senior Specialist is responsible for overseeing the daily operations, optimization, and maintenance of the company's fleet. This role ensures all fleet-related activities are compliant with internal policies, safety standards, and regulatory requirements, while driving cost-efficiency and operational excellence.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee and coordinate the scheduling, maintenance, and repair of fleet vehicles.

  • Monitor fleet performance metrics (e.g. fuel consumption, maintenance costs, vehicle utilization) and recommend improvements.

  • Ensure compliance with local, regional, and federal regulations regarding fleet safety and emissions.

  • Collaborate with procurement to select vendors, negotiate contracts, and manage relationships with service providers.

  • Manage vehicle registration, insurance, and licensing processes.

  • Develop and enforce fleet policies and driver guidelines.

  • Lead initiatives to improve fuel efficiency, sustainability, and cost control.

  • Train junior fleet staff and support development of internal fleet procedures.

  • Analyze data to forecast vehicle needs and replacement schedules.

  • Act as a point of escalation for complex fleet issues.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Logistics, Transportation, Business Administration, or a related field.

  • 3–5+ years of experience in fleet management or a similar role.

  • Strong understanding of vehicle maintenance and fleet operations.

  • Proficient in using fleet management software and MS Office Suite.

  • Excellent analytical, organizational, and communication skills.

  • Knowledge of applicable transportation and safety regulations.

  • Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work under pressure.
