Construction Manager – Luxury Hospitality Projects (Uzbekistan)

We are seeking a seasoned Construction Manager with a strong background in managing the construction of ultra-luxury hospitality developments. The ideal candidate will have a successful track record delivering 5-star hotel or resort projects in line with the standards of luxury brands.

This role is based in Uzbekistan and requires a leader capable of overseeing all construction phases on-site while ensuring compliance with international luxury standards and local regulations.

Key Responsibilities:

• Oversee day-to-day construction operations across all phases, ensuring quality, schedule, and budget objectives are achieved.

• Manage and coordinate contractors, consultants, suppliers, and site teams to ensure efficient execution and adherence to high-end design standards.

• Monitor construction timelines, critical path activities, and proactively resolve delays or technical issues.

• Ensure compliance with Uzbek building codes, regulations, permits, and international hospitality design standards.

• Liaise with international hotel operators to align construction deliverables with brand-specific requirements.

• Track budgets, change orders, value engineering, and procurement activities.

• Enforce rigorous quality control, with a particular focus on luxury finishes, custom detailing, and precision workmanship.

• Lead and supervise site inspections, safety compliance, and contractor performance reviews.

• Report regularly to the client and project stakeholders with transparent progress updates and risk assessments.

Requirements:

• Minimum 7–10 years of experience in construction management of luxury hotels/resorts, preferably with international operators.

• Previous experience on projects aligned with luxury brands.

• Degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, Architecture, or a related discipline.

• Deep understanding of MEP coordination, structural works, and luxury interior fit-outs.

• Fluent in English (written and spoken); knowledge of Russian and/or Uzbek is a strong advantage.

• Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.

• Ability to lead multicultural site teams and communicate with international stakeholders.

• Proficiency in project management tools (MS Project, Primavera, AutoCAD, etc.).

• Willingness to be fully site-based and work in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.

• Prior experience working on international developments within Central Asia or emerging markets.

• Familiarity with green building standards (LEED, BREEAM, etc.) is a plus.

• Knowledge of local permitting and construction procedures in Uzbekistan.
