Are you an ambitious and results-driven professional looking to excel in the fast-paced world of bunker fuel trading? We are seeking a Bunker Trader to join our dynamic team (Cyprus, United Arab Emirates), managing fuel sales and procurement while building strong relationships with clients and suppliers worldwide.
Responsibilities
- Trading marine fuel and lubes on a global basis
- Researching, developing and maintaining strong business relationship with new clients (shipping, operating and chartering companies)
- Initiating contacts with potential customers via phone, email and other sources
- Developing your own portfolio
- Monitoring the entire supply chain and trade cycle
- Monitoring of market development to identify new opportunities
- Managing risk exposure and optimize trading strategies
- Participating in international bunker conferences (after trial)
- Achieving KPI’s and quarterly targets
Skills & Requirements:
- A Bachelor degree in shipping, business administration, economic, commerce or any other related field
- 3+ years experience in shipping/oil industry or in B2B sales in commodities
- Willingness to foster and expand client relationship constantly
- Languages: English - C1 (is a must), (Greek, Turkish, Arabic will be a plus)
- Excellent negotiation skills
- Represent the company at trade events for network
- Be ready to travel on business
- Be result oriented, passionate about oil industry, can-do attitude and business development are some of the key skills for the Bunker Trader
