Teaching Assistant (Secondary School)

We are looking to recruit a passionate, dedicated, and experienced Teaching Assistant to join our Secondary School team.

The successful candidate will provide individual learning and well-being support to students who may need extra guidance to reach their full potential. This role combines academic assistance with emotional support, helping students feel confident, included, and motivated to learn.

What will you do?

• Work closely with teachers and Vice Principals to support individual students during lessons;
• Assist students with understanding class materials, completing homework, and managing academic projects;
• Provide well-being support to help students build confidence, resilience, and positive learning habits;
• Support students who may experience learning or language barriers, helping them engage more fully in the classroom;
• Collaborate with teachers to adapt learning strategies based on students’ progress and needs;
• Help maintain a caring, inclusive, and supportive school environment;
• Demonstrate strong interpersonal and communication skills while working with students, teachers, and parents.

We are looking for someone who:

• Is empathetic, patient, and genuinely enjoys supporting young people;
• Understands the importance of both academic and emotional support in learning;
• Has strong English skills and the ability to assist with communication and understanding;
• Is adaptable, collaborative, and passionate about helping every student succeed.

Our requirements:

• Higher Degree Diploma;

• At least 1 year of teaching experience;

• Ability to work with native and non-native speakers of English;

• Fluency in English is a must;

• Excellent lifelong learning skills;

• Excellent organizational and time management skills;

• Strong communication skills;

• High sense of responsibility and flexibility;
