QUALIFICATIONS & REQUIREMENTS:
  • Minimum 8–9 years of experience in the tax field

  • Manager level is highly preferred

  • Bachelor’s degree (or higher) in Accounting, Finance, or Taxation

  • Strong experience in tax accounting and reporting for large taxpayers

  • Knowledge of VAT refund procedures and tax structuring

  • Proficiency in Oracle ERP, SAP, or 1C, as well as MS Office applications

  • Professional certification such as Tax Advisor of the Republic of Kazakhstan or Professional Accountant of the Republic of Kazakhstan is required

  • ACCA qualification will be considered an advantage

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
  • Oversee and manage all aspects of tax accounting and tax reporting

  • Ensure timely and accurate submission of all tax declarations and related documentation

  • Maintain effective communication with governmental bodies, including the State Revenue Committee, Ministry of Finance, Ministry of National Economy, and Ministry of Transport

  • Lead and coordinate the team of tax specialists, providing guidance and ensuring compliance with local and international tax regulations

  • Support management in tax planning, structuring, and optimization initiatives

  • Work schedule 5 days per week, working hours from 8.00 to 17.00 (lunch break from 12.00 to 13.00)
