Key Account Manager

We’re looking for an experienced Key Account Manager, Project Sales to join our Professional Division in Kazakhstan.

Working for a global industry leader in lighting and innovation means being part of a culture of continuous learning and a strong commitment to sustainability and inclusion, creating an environment where you can grow your expertise and make a real impact.

As a Key Account Manager for Project Sales, you’ll focus on driving growth through B2B project channels — managing relationships with developers, EPC contractors, architects, and industrial clients involved in infrastructure, oil & gas, and commercial construction projects.

You will play a key role in promoting professional and connected lighting solutions, supporting customers throughout all project phases — from concept to delivery.

What you’ll do

  • Develop and manage project opportunities in cooperation with design institutes, engineering firms, construction companies, and end-users.

  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key regional accounts, ensuring customer satisfaction and long-term partnerships.

  • Identify and influence projects at the design and specification stages, promoting solutions and technologies.

  • Drive the full project sales cycle: from specification and tender preparation to commercial negotiations and contract closing.

  • Collaborate closely with internal teams (marketing, product, supply chain) to ensure successful project execution.

  • Develop and implement a Strategic Account Plan for key customers to achieve revenue and profitability goals.

  • Monitor market dynamics and competitors in the Western Kazakhstan region to identify new business opportunities.

What you’ll need

  • 5+ years of experience in B2B or project-based sales, preferably in lighting, electrical, construction, or industrial sectors.

  • Proven success in managing complex projects with multiple stakeholders.

  • Solid understanding of project cycles in industrial and infrastructure sectors (oil & gas, manufacturing, logistics, public infrastructure).

  • Strong communication and negotiation skills.

  • Fluent in English and Russian; knowledge of Kazakh is a plus.

What we offer

  • Full-time work schedule: 5/2 with a hybrid working format.

  • Transportation cost compensation.

  • Meal allowance / meal compensation.

  • Voluntary medical insurance (VMI).

  • Mobile phone communication compensation.

  • Performance-based bonus system.
