Job responsibilities:

The Project Manager responsibilities to develop professional and mutually supportive relationship with client and to manage the entire PMC activities within the project. For this, he/she monitors policies and record keeping practices to ensure that the project is operated in conformance with contractual requirements. He/she is the leader of the project team, which may include suppliers and subcontractors, to achieve performance and profitability parameters.

Part of list responsibilities, but not limited:

Sales process:

Implementation of BV Business model and strategies.

Preparation of pre-qualification dossier/questionnaire;

Offer / Tender: Tender Analysis / Contract Review (contractual, legal and technical aspects);

Preparation of a Technical Offer (method of statement, contract organization structure, deliverables), preparation of a Commercial Offer (price structure, cost / time / resources / profit estimation, price conditions / technical and contractual qualifications, etc.);

Offer follow up and negotiation;

When dealing on a large project, elaborates the detail technical part of the proposal in co-ordination with the contract manager and with the assistance of local and corporate resources.

Contract Execution:

Manage the entire project team by active participation in daily business related HR/Admin activities, coordination with project contracts and finance departments, monitoring HSE activities, etc.

Initiate, edit, and issuance of all contractual letters within the project execution.

Manage, Coordinate the project Engineering team. Provide technical inputs on Engineering and its analysis whenever it is needed.

Shall take active lead participation and be fully responsible towards technical scope compliance, (EPC, Licensor, including fulfilling PMC technical obligations)

Shall review and/or monitor all key execution procedures, method statements along with team and pass on quality comments and ensure EPC contractor complies to execution procedure.

Shall have competency in developing procedure supporting PMC roles (engineering execution procedures,)

Manage engineering related procurement, engineering related sub contracts and engineering related construction activities

Ensure that PMC technical staff are closing out on time document review with quality comments and there is a clear IDC system followed

Ensure that PMC technical staff are complying to the project instructions.

Ensure all engineering design review meetings are held on time with each of the meeting pre-requisite being met.

Actively participate, organize various technical alignment meetings towards a healthy resolution of open items.

Actively participate in procurement process and resolve all hurdles from MR to TBE for timely PO placement.

Initiate formal communication to notify, guide and defend the client from project interest PMC contractual obligations.

Active participation to review and comment on the subcontractor execution plans (engineering perspective- along with Technical leads and Engineering managers)

Manage and interact with the sub-contractors, initiate and issue the contractual letters

Preparation of the Contract Quality Plan; financial forecast;

Preparation the Contract Execution Plan and co-ordination procedures;

Setting up of contract organization chart and key personnel;

Preparation and issuance of project Weekly/Monthly reports.

Project Close Out:

Preparation and issuance of Project Final report / lesson learned, etc.

Communications with client for obtaining project closure report.

Responsible for Contract Financial Statement.

Responsible for project final reconciliation and close out works.

Required experience:

A minimum of 10 years’ experience in the discipline concerned and minimum 5 years’ experience in Project Management to be validated by BU Manager and appropriate BL.

Work experience (at least 1 project) in a similar position from Customer side or PMC consultant in EPCC projects in an energy, oil and gas industry (GPP, GCC, refinery, LNG, GTL, full scale field development, international pipeline systems or other project of similar scope and complexity)

A minimum of 10 years’ experience in the discipline concerned with international experience in the energy and industrial sectors

PMI Certification, Project Management Professional (PMP)

Experience working on projects according to FIDIC standards as a Project Manager (Team Leader FIDIC Engineer)

IPMA Level B certificate

Languages: ENG/RU are must
