Senior Network Engineer

Nauchsoft is an IT consulting and software development company with 36 years of experience and a team of 770+ professionals and continuing to grow.

We are looking for an experienced Network Engineer (R&D-oriented) to join our team for a Cyber Security project.

This role requires an understanding of telecommunication networks across a wide range of technologies, as well as the ability to program and work on setups and demos, rather than just configuring or maintaining existing production networks.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement networking features across multiple general-purpose platforms, COTS, including working with embedded platforms.
• Compile and port networking features across platforms using different build systems.
• Design and prototype networking functionality using communication protocols at the OSI layer (MAC, IP, TCP/UDP).
• Implement dynamic routing protocols (OSPF, RIP, MANET).
• Develop functionality for seamless handover between networks.
• Prepare and execute experimental demonstrations using 3GPP protocols.
• Explore and contribute to AI-based networking functionalities.

Requirements:

• 4–5+ years of experience in network systems or communication software development.

• English proficiency: B2 or higher (spoken & written).

• Analytical mindset, engineering approach to problem solving, proactive attitude.

• Open to relocation to Abu Dhabi.

Technical Stack & Skills

• Telecommunications or computer science educational background (BSc/MSc).

• Comprehensive understanding of communication protocols.

• Comprehensive understanding of communication networks.

• Programming background in C/C++, Python.
