We are seeking a senior-level Operations Manager with extensive experience in heavy transport and project logistics. The role focuses on leading complex operational projects, ensuring structured, safe, and efficient execution, and continuously improving operational processes. The successful candidate will work closely with clients, contractors, and internal teams to deliver high-quality project outcomes while strengthening overall operational performance.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee full-cycle heavy transport and project logistics operations, ensuring timely and safe delivery.
- Design, implement, and track operational improvement initiatives to enhance efficiency and performance.
- Lead and coordinate on-site teams, ensuring compliance with safety standards, quality requirements, and regulatory frameworks.
- Act as the main operational interface between clients, suppliers, subcontractors, and field personnel.
- Review, approve, and control transport methodologies, route surveys, lifting plans, and technical documentation.
- Contribute to budgeting, cost control, reporting, and resource allocation to maintain strong operational governance.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Logistics, or a comparable discipline.
- At least 5 years of hands-on experience in heavy transport and project logistics operations; regional experience is a strong advantage.
- Fluent English (spoken and written).
- Proficiency in Russian, Turkish and Kazakh is highly desirable.
- Practical experience with planning and design software such as AutoCAD and equipment planning tools.
- Demonstrated ability to manage field operations and lead cross-functional, multicultural teams.
- Strong analytical mindset with excellent planning and problem-solving skills.
- Confident communicator with a proactive, decisive, and results-oriented leadership style.
