Juru is looking for a Senior Civil & Structural Engineer to join our Engineering Design & Management Business Unit in Tashkent, Uzbekistan. In this role, you will be supporting the team on a wide range of high-profile energy and infrastructure projects across the Central Asia region.

Responsibilities:

Structural Analysis & Design: Perform complex structural calculations for industrial buildings, equipment foundations, and structures using specialized software (LIRA).

Design Development: Develop and maintain conceptual and detailed construction drawings, ensuring engineering and design deliverables are completed within budget and on time.

Coordination: Maintain close coordination with other disciplines to resolve engineering issues during design development; review and check processes to ensure civil design inputs are delivered timely and correctly.

Quality Assurance: Review design drawings and calculations developed by other engineers to ensure accuracy, safety, and completeness according to design requirements and concepts.

Stakeholder Management: Participate in client, contractor, and stakeholder technical meetings; coordinate with contractors and subcontractors to ensure construction meets specifications.

Compliance: Conduct reviews of engineering projects to determine their compliance with local regulations (KMK/SHNK), GOST standards, as well as international standards (Eurocodes, ACI) and client requirements.

Mentorship: Oversee and mentor junior staff, providing technical guidance and support.

Perform other ad-hoc tasks as required.
Professional requirements:

A university degree in Civil Engineering or a similar field;

Minimum 7 years of experience in designing energy or infrastructure projects;

Software Skills:
-
Mandatory: Proficiency in structural analysis software LIRA (LIRA Sapr/Soft);

Desirable: Experience with Tekla Structures, SAP2000, or ETABS is a strong advantage;

Codes & Standards:
-
Solid working knowledge of GOST standards and local KMK/SHNK codes;

Knowledge of international standards (Eurocodes, ACI/ASCE) is highly desirable;

Good user of Microsoft Office packages and Google Workspace (particularly MS Excel and Google Sheets);

Good command of English and Russian, both written and verbal;

Strong communication, analytical, problem-solving, and critical thinking skills;
