Key Responsibilities:
Strategic Management
- Lead the trucking company in Türkiye, designing its organizational and operational model in alignment with the Group’s goals.
- Develop and implement short- and long-term strategies focused on efficiency, profitability, and network integration.
- Represent the company before local authorities, business partners, and strategic stakeholders.
- Drive coordination and synergy between trucking and logistics operations to deliver seamless multimodal solutions for clients.
Financial and Commercial Management
- Develop and manage annual budgets, forecasts, and cost-control mechanisms for both trucking and logistics activities.
- Ensure profitability through operational efficiency, optimal cost-per-kilometer, and revenue growth.
- Oversee financial and operational reporting in accordance with Group standards.
- Support commercial strategy and participate in key negotiations and client discussions.
Operations and Fleet Management
- Oversee daily logistics and trucking operations, including planning, dispatch, route optimization, and resource utilization.
- Ensure service quality, cargo safety, and on-time performance.
- Manage procurement, maintenance, and utilization of own and subcontracted fleet.
- Develop and implement operational policies, SOPs, and quality standards.
Compliance, Quality, and Risk Management
- Ensure full compliance with Turkish transport, labor, and customs regulations.
- Implement Group-level quality and safety systems across all operations.
- Identify and mitigate risks related to operations, suppliers, and financial performance; maintain business continuity plans.
Team Leadership and Development
- Build and lead a strong local team; manage recruitment, training, and performance evaluation.
- Develop team capabilities in operations, fleet management, and client service.
- Foster a culture of ownership, accountability, and continuous improvement.
Group Collaboration and Stakeholder Relations
- Ensure effective coordination with Group Headquarter and other regional entities.
- Represent Turkey operations in Group performance reviews and strategic meetings.
- Maintain transparent communication with internal and external stakeholders.
Technology and Performance Management
- Implement and optimize logistics management systems (TMS), GPS tracking, and reporting tools.
- Use technology and analytics for data-driven decision-making and performance monitoring.
- Define and track key performance indicators (KPI) for efficiency, cost, service quality, and profitability.
Qualifications & Requirements:
- Minimum 10 years of international logistics and transport operations experience, including at least 5 years in senior leadership roles.
- Proven track record in P&L ownership, business growth, or regional general management.
- Deep knowledge of multimodal logistics, project cargo, tendering, and international compliance.
- Advanced understanding of TMS/WMS/ERP systems and business analytics tools (e.g., Power BI, Tableau).
- Bachelor’s degree in Logistics, Supply Chain, Business, or related field. Master’s degree or MBA preferred.
- Fluent in English; Russian and/or Turkish is a strong advantage.
- Strong leadership, communication, and cross-cultural management skills.
- Willingness to travel regularly and manage complex stakeholder networks.
